Yesterday I checked TV listings and discovered that there are only four soap operas left. Apparently, FOX programming is designed to take up the slack. That would account for the fixation on stoves, toilets and washing machines. They are still catering to stay at home wives. I suppose that is what the nattering about suburban women is about, as well. Margaret Taylor Greene Qualifies, but she represents a dying breed.

Kept housewives in public service are pretty much a disaster.
