There are too many Catholics on the Supreme Court. Catholicism is an authoritarian belief system with the added deficit of forgiving evil upon verbal admission. That is what Trump picked up at Fordham. If one admits the evil one has done, guilt (responsibility) is washed away. But not really. Shared in secret, guilt leads to an unholy alliance.
That is what accounts for the abuse of youth going on and on. Catholicism is a perversion of Christ’s teaching. That is why Islam and Protestantism aimed for reform. Obedience coerced by forgiveness. Which necessitates that there be evil acts to forgive. Capitalism is Catholicism secularized.
“pater noster qui es in cælis sanctificetur nomen tuum adveniat regnum tuum fiat voluntas tua sicut in cælo et in terra panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris et ne nos inducas in tentationem sed libera nos a malo”
I never registered that what I consider obligations (debts) in return for benefits received are now defined in Catholicism as sins!

Turns out there is much argument over the meaning of the word. Supersubstantial is perceived as incomprehensible. I’d say it is the spirit or life force, which distinguishes the living from the dead. It is invisible. So, of course, it is difficult for the optically fixated to comprehend. Supersubstantial is beyond substance or material reality. Translating it as “daily” is a stretch, but perhaps consistent with males being worried about being fed. Of course all the biblical exegetes were male.
How is our understanding of the world skewed by the male perspective?
