How did I overlook the need to send this missive to the Sheriff of Glynn County? Perhaps because it eventually had the desired result, I ignored the dereliction?

Dear Sheriff Jump,

Enclosed please find a copy of a letter I sent to you on July 30, 2017 requesting, among other things, a copy of a document I signed on July 4, 2017 to secure the release of my husband, Julian Smith, a letter to which I have received no response.

In case the original request got lost in the mail, I will send this with a request for a receipt. I hope you can respond at your earliest convenience. GORA requests require a response within three working days. It has now been eight months.

Thank you in advance for forwarding a copy of the documents I signed on July 4th 2017.
