Promotion

Now there is a strange word. Does it mean forward motion without any indication of a goal? Or does it refer to a substitute for motion–i.e. stagnation? Empty rhetoric for sure.

Promotion is what proselytizing and advertising have in common. A sham disguise. Commerce is putting materials in motion to extract value as profit; a sophisticated shell game. So, basically, commerce is immoral; taking something for nothing; stealth/theft.

What is wrong with promotion? Even in its most innocuous state, it is presumptuous in assuming that motility may be forced. Promotion is coercion in disguise. This is, of course, just a hypothesis.
