Woodward and Trump exchange.

After thinking about this, I come back to my perception that nothing Trump says is to be believed. When he says “I want to be honest with you,” that is a clue that he is lying. He does not answer the question. The claim to honesty is like the religious nut’s reliance on Jesus. The honesty script and the Jesus script serve to disguise that the brain knows not what is being asked.

So, what we now have is a small army of people who share the guilt of having been suckered into doing things they should not have. Why did they do them? Because they did not seem worth fighting over.

Why didn’t Bob Woodward broadcast the infor right away? Because he did not believe what he heard.
