Banana Lily or Nymphaea Mexicana

This plant showed up after the hurrican flooded the yard in 2017. It grows in the deepr water in the center of the pond, while the white ones (Nymphaea odorata) stay in the 18″ area around the edge. After a while, the leaves shrivel up and the plant disappears, presumably in the muck at the bottoem, and then reemerges the following year.
