For the record…..

In the matter of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, a video of Chris Cuomo, William Roddie Bryan and his lawyer, Kevin Gough.

What was to be accomplished by showing Bryan to be a moron is unclear. My personal opinion is that the lawyers in the Golden Isles, whose main activity seems to be helping people hide their assets in LLCs, aren’t worth spit. And that includes the County Attorney who, by the way, lives about two blocks down the road from Bryan’s recently purchased house and where the shooting occurred.

Now, for Bryan to have recorded as much as he did of Arbery running, he had to have just happened to drive into the neighborhood and started recording with his phone out of habit, or he had to have started from his house, driven up Holmes to Zellwood, turned left on Zellwood and left again on Satilla. Because Arbery was running towards the Bryan house on Burford.

According to public records, Bryan purchased that house from Bruce Stormer in the first week in February of this year. When ownership was recorded, the name of a woman was added. kevin Gough makes reference to a fiancee in the interview and alludes to some relationship to the local DA office on the third floor of the court house.

Before Roddie’s and his partner’s pages were removed from Facebook, it was clear from her list of friends that she is well connected, or careless about whose friendships she accepts. Since, in addition to the FB pages being removed, the GIS information for their house has been removed to “protect the innocent,” I intend to respect that. However, it would have been good if Gough had resisted the temptation to grandstand and kept Roddie off the TV. I expect he is called Roddie, even though his middle name is Robert, because he really likes hot rods.

The question I have is who’s his Daddy. Is it that Robert Bryan who owns all that acreage across from the neighborhood on Highway Seventeen?

Perhaps the sole intent was to fix firmly in the public mind that the moron’s name is Roddy or Roddie.

Robert E Bryan, btw, is the former director of Saint Simons by the Sea, a drug addiction treatment facility on Saint Simons where, coincidentally, Cory Sasser was taken and released from after a stand-off with police. Robert Bryan has most recently been connected to Willingway in Statesboro, Ga. In public records he goes by Robert C.

Dear Mr. Noble,

Can you tell me where I can find a permit issued for the construction and expansion of a residential dock into waters of the state in association with the property owned by a Mr. English in the Satilla Shores subdivision?



Images from County GIS and Google maps suggest that significant construction has occurred in waters of the state outside the owner’s property. Mr. Larry H. England is a resident of another county, I believe. So, he may well have been represented by an agent.
