WHY DO OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH LYING TO US? BECAUSE HONORABLE PEOPLE JUST CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THOSE WHOM THEY TRUSTED WILL DECEIVE.
BESIDES, WHEN PEOPLE ARE LOOKING TO GET HIRED, THEY ARE EXPECTING, NOT KNOWING. AFTER SEVERAL YEARS ON THE JOB, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR MISLEADING. WHAT GEORGIA SENATOR DAVID PERDUE IS SPOUTING IS BEYOND THE PALE.
Dear Mr. Citizen:
Thank you for contacting me regarding healthcare reform. I always appreciate the opportunity to hear from my fellow Georgians.
TO APPRECIATE IS TO IGNORE
Obamacare is collapsing under its own weight.
The overreaching federal program has caused healthcare costs to skyrocket for millions of Americans, while too many hardworking men and women have been forced to pay a penalty or sign up for coverage they can’t afford or doesn’t fit their needs.
IT IS NOT A FEDERAL PROGRAM. IN EXCHANGE FOR SENDING DOLLARS TO INSURANCE COMPANIES FROM THE TREASURY, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT INSISTS THAT CERTAIN BASIC STANDARDS OF CARE ARE MET. IF INSURANCE PREMIUMS HAVE INCREASED, THAT IS BECAUSE INSURANCE COMPANIES COLLECT A MONETARY PROFIT FROM EVERY TRANSACTION.
FACT IS THAT MEDICAL AND SURGICAL NEEDS CANNOT BE IDENTIFIED AHEAD OF TIME. IF COSTS HAVE EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS, THAT IS BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE SICKER THAN ANTICIPATED. FOR SURE, MORE CARE IS REQUIRED TO KEEP PEOPLE ALIVE THAN TO LET THEM EXPIRE IN THE PRIME OF LIFE.
In addition, Obamacare has created a larger federal bureaucracy, with more federal mandates, that has made it harder for small businesses to grow and create jobs.
JOBS ARE JOBS. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PAY SCALE IS HIGHER THAN THE MINIMUM SMALL BUSINESS PREFERS TO PAY. HOWEVER, THE ACA MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR INDIVIDUALS TO RISK GOING IT ALONE AND START A NEW BUSINESS. SO, THIS CLAIM IS JUST ANOTHER LIE.
It is time we clear the path for market-based solutions that will lower taxes and promote comprehensive and affordable healthcare coverage for all Americans.
HEALTH CARE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE MARKET SINCE, LIKE INCINERATION, NOBODY ACTUALLY WANTS TO HAVE IT. BESIDES, MARKET TRANSACTIONS GENERATE SALES TAXES, WHICH IS A GOOD THING. BECAUSE, TAXES ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THE MECHANISM WE USE FOR RETURNING DOLLARS TO THE TREASURY
THAT SAID, AFFORDABILITY IS NOT AN APPROPRIATE CRITERION WHEN WELFARE, A CONGRESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY, IS THE ISSUE. CONGRESS HAS THE OBLIGATION. CONGRESS HAS THE MONEY. THE FAILURE TO ALLOCATE ADEQUATELY IS A DERELICTION OF DUTY.
IT REALY IS INAPPROPRIATE FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS TO BE TELLING THE PUBLIC WHAT TO DO.
The Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA) is currently under review in the Senate. It includes protections for people with pre-existing conditions while also laying the foundation for a more stable insurance market in the future.
INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE PARASITIC MIDDLEMEN WHOSE CONTRIBUTION TO ILLNESS PREVENTION AND INJURY MITIGATION IS NIL. THEY ARE LUCKY NOT TO HAVE BEEN PUT OUT OF COMMISSION ENTIRELY. NEVER MIND BOTHERING WITH STABILIZATION.
As changes to the current version of the BCRA are proposed, I will continue to keep your comments regarding healthcare reform in mind. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your opinion about this important issue.
CITIZENS ARE NOT “SHARING OPINIONS.” THEY ARE GIVING DIRECTIONS. IF SERVANT PERDUE DOES NOT GET THAT, THEN HE IS A LOST CAUSE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.
Please do not hesitate to contact my office if I can be of further assistance.
BLATHER IS NOT ASSISTANCE. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IS SERVICE AND, AT A MINIMUM, THE DISTRIBUTION OF PUBLIC FUNDS TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES WE NEED. NOR, FOR THAT MATTER, ARE WE LOOKING FOR “KIND REGARDS.” JUST DO YOUR JOB, DAVID!
