Sell them a President who's going to be responsible for running the country AND setting its moral tone; then give them an idiot who can't be held accountable for anything.

BTW, I think it is wrong to refer to Tony Blair as Bush's poodle. The leaked briefing papers make it clear that he was the consiglieri.

Should have kept his own hands clean though.
