Biden and Bolton

Senator Joseph Biden has never spoken for me and not just because I've never lived in Delaware.  While I appreciate that his little state has found it profitable to register corporations that don't do any real business there, the Senator has been over-eager to support the corporate agenda, instead of the citizens he's actually supposed to be working for.
Indeed, along with several others, the Senator's designation of himself as a Democrat seems to reflect little more than participation in a different flavor country club.  No wonder he thinks the National Chairman of the Democratic Party doesn't speak for him.  Howard Dean is not a country-club kind of guy and he's not a particular friend of corporations which register out-of-state to escape local regulations and responsibilities.
Which is why Democrats from all over the country insisted he be appointed.  Biden would have served all of us better had he focused on yet another inappropriate nomination coming before the Senate.  Caving in on John Bolton is not going to gain him any stature among ordinary Americans either.
